01-30 October Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Breast cancer is the most common cancer type seen on women. There is a risk of breast cancer in one of 8 women for life. Routin check-ups must not be delayed for early diagnosis of breast cancer. Also, every woman after 30-years-old should check herself every month. In this way, breast cancer can be prevented before it goes to severe levels. It is important that  frequently appyling offered checking routins, checking breasts on themselves, for early diagnosis of breast cancer. Especially women older than 50 years old, are at more risk. Factors like family story, race, first period age, children number affect the risk of breast cancer. Alcohol, smoking, eating habits, weight, taken radiotherapies or hormone supplement treatment are the facts to be questioned.
